At Torc Community & Family Resource Centre, our Community Early Years & Care Service is one of the many supports we offer to families.
We are dedicated to providing every child with equal opportunities to develop socially, emotionally, and academically through age-appropriate, engaging experiences.
Our approach is rooted in strong partnerships between families, educators and the wider community, working together to create a nurturing environment where each child can thrive. We document each child’s daily experiences to support their growth and share insights with families.

What we have for You!
We are a fully equipped purpose-built Community Childcare facility located on the CFRC Premises in Killarney. We have :
- Bright, safe, and welcoming indoor play spaces designed to spark creativity and exploration
- Secure outdoor play area that encourages physical activity, social interaction, and connection with nature
- A nurturing Toddler Room tailored to support the developmental needs of our youngest learners
- Junior and Senior Pre-School rooms offering age-appropriate early education programmes that promote school readiness, confidence, and a love of learning
Our Sensory Room.
Our bespoke, standalone sensory room is a calm and welcoming space designed to support the sensory, emotional, and developmental needs of young children. Thoughtfully equipped with a range of interactive lights, textures, sounds, and soft furnishings, the room provides a soothing environment where children can explore at their own pace. It offers a safe haven for children who may become overstimulated or benefit from additional support with self-regulation, sensory processing, or emotional expression. Used regularly by our early years education and care service, the sensory room plays a vital role in promoting well-being, inclusion, and positive early learning experiences for all children.
